Deities
The deities in his story
Four deities run through the story of Brajacharya Shri Narayan Bhatt Ji: Ladle Thakur, given to him at the Godavari; Baldev and Revati ji, brought out of the earth at Unchagaon; Ladili-Lal, revealed on Brahmanchal hill; and Radharaman ji at Sanket.
Three deities, in order
From the Godavari to Sanket
In the order they came into his life.
Samvat 1600 (1543), the Godavari
The Ladileya, Ladle Thakur
His own Thakur. When he was twelve, at the Godavari, Krishna gave him His own child form. On the road to Braj the child sat in his lap and walked ahead of him on tender feet, and the Charitamrit says He stayed with him while the lost lila places were revealed, gladly handing over His own places. He is said to sit today in the Dauji temple at Unchagaon, and at Kartik Purnima the Ashta Sakhi parikrama goes out with Him.

Baldev and Revati ji
One Shravan afternoon a cow gave her milk to a fair boy in the forest, and he knew the boy was Baldev. That night the boy told him in a dream that His murti lay under the earth; in the morning the Brajvasis dug it out, and the first abhishek was on Shravan Shukla 5. In his last charge he told his son Damodar to serve Baldev as his ishta and to keep the Ladileya beside Him. Dauji’s prakatya is still kept on Nag Panchami.

Samvat 1626 (1569), Brahmanchal hill
Ladili-Lal, Barsana
Pleased with his tapasya, Radha appeared to him as a little girl, and after midnight the pair came to him in murti form. He named them Ladili-Lal. He gave their seva to his disciple Narayandas, and this is today’s Shri Ladli Ji temple.

Sanket
Radharaman ji
He revealed Sanket, where Radha and Krishna met. There, at Radharaman ji’s request, he sang the Rasa Panchadhyayi and wrote the Rasikahladini commentary on the Bhagavata. Radharaman ji’s prakatya is tied to him too.
